What can yo say about the win against the United States? It was really close battle. The Americans started very fast and they were a little bit better. We kept calm and scored two goals in the first period. The second one in the dying seconds helped us a lot. It was the winning goal, and then we played well defensively.
What did you change after yesterday´s loss to Canada We told each other that we have to play better defensively, and we did exactly that. Giving up three goals in the dying minutes of a tight games isn´t what we want to do.
In the third period today, the Americans had only three shots on goal. What was the feeling on the team? were really nervous in deed. They need to score that tieing goal. We had the third part of game really strong. Defensmans played carefully and ofense got seriously good oportunnities.
On the other hand, in the second part of the game, Even 13 shots aimed on you, Was it hard as goalkeeper position? When you are still in action, it´s hard. The Americans were very dangerous in the attacking zone. On the other hand, I had to be concetrate i stopped the balls easily. The defensmans helped me so much.
Three shots isn´t so much, How was the game, you didn´t play so much. Did you feel concentarted? It wasn´t much ideal, stay in net without any job. When i was in action queit much period before, so three shots are really less. I tryied to be concetrated more and join the game as much as i can.
Although you played very well, what can you improve into the next match? Some defense moments are less productive. We need to form players in front of net to clear the attackers in goal area. Despite of this we played very nice in attack. I had to compliment boys.
Did you have luck enough? You had lot of unpleasure moments in match, when USA could score more goals. We want to win this battle, it was really important for us. We were well-prepared. And you know, lucky wish them who is prepared. And we were
